I'm working on a portrait of a very good friend of mine. This is for her birthday which is Friday. I did not want to post before now just in case she reads this blog. But it is late at night and I realize that I will not have it done by the time I give her a card and the other gift I have for her so... I've decided to print out the picture of how it looks so far and give it to her with the other gift when I see her.

I just hope she is happy with it when it's done. I like the way it's going but my family keeps saying, "Too bad it's not as good as Gordon. If you could just make it more like Gordon."

Well, hopefully when I'm done, it will look as good as Gordon. But for Pete's sake, I'm nowhere near done.
